2. Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. GA4 uses the following cookies:

• _ga – Distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_* – Maintains session state. Expires after 2 years.

These cookies collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral source. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics cookies.

Analytics cookies are only loaded after you explicitly accept them via the cookie consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies will be set and no tracking data will be collected. We also respect the Do Not Track (DNT) browser setting. If enabled, analytics will not load even if you have previously accepted cookies.

• Storage: Form submissions are stored in AWS DynamoDB in the us-east-1 region with encryption at rest enabled by default.
• Retention: Lead data is retained for 1 year (enforced via DynamoDB TTL), after which it is automatically deleted.
• Transport: All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
• Access: Only authorized GCOAT team members have access to stored data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Service providers: AWS (hosting and data storage) and Google (analytics) process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
